Cuentista, Performer, Teacher-Artist and Writer.
Programs
Most of my repertoire comes from Latin America, the Hispanic Southwest, and Spain. Occasionally, I venture into telling stories from other parts of the world! All my stories have a different degree of bilingualism: English with a bit of Español, Français, or Animal Language. All programs are between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the institution's needs.
Children Shows
Bring storytelling magic to kids with interactive, engaging performances! Using puppets, props, chants, and movement, my shows cover topics like the universe, seasons, kindness, leadership, and community-building. These sessions are perfect for schools, libraries, museums, and festivals, making learning unforgettable.
Tweens and Teens Programs
Captivate middle and high school students with stories that connect mythology, history, and science. Students explore myths, ghost stories, and timeless legends through thought-provoking residencies and shows while engaging their Imagination and curiosity about the human experience.
Día de los Muertos
Celebrate Día de los Muertos with storytelling that honors ancestors and explores the tradition's deep cultural roots. This program combines wonder, nostalgia, and a touch of fright to teach this meaningful celebration's history, symbolism, and significance in immigrant communities.
Tales for Grownups
Embark on a journey through myths, legends, and fairy tales tailored for grown-ups. From Colombian folklore to Mayan mythology, Grimm tales, literary folklore, and ghostly adventures, my stories offer thrilling escapes and profound insights.
